At Curl Curl North Visual Art is taught by class teachers and by Mai-Lin Travers, our specialist Creative Arts teacher.
Students are provided with a wide range of experiences in Visual Art. All classes attend a pottery lesson each year with local potter Nic Auton and students' art work is framed and displayed throughout the school. In alternate years an art show is held to showcase student art.
In 2009 Mrs Travers introduced the students to 'public art' when she coordinated the 'Toilet Tiling' project. The ceramic tiles painted by every student have been used to decorate the toilet block.
