The School Council meets twice a term to discuss, support and participate in the management of the school.
Membership consists of two elected parent members, two elected staff members, the President of the P&C or their representative, a community member and the school Principal.
An important function of the School Council is to participate in the school’s self evaluation process, assisting the executive staff to conduct two annual evaluations - one related to educational and management practice and the other related to curriculum. The School Council also monitors the school’s three year Strategic Plan and the school budget. It writes new policies and rewrites existing policies as required.
