Music Program
Our specialist music teacher Carlos Villanueva provides weekly forty minute music lessons. Each class has lessons for two terms of each year.
Children participate in a wide variety of music activities covering all three main areas of primary music education; performing (singing, playing, moving), listening and organising sound.
During these varied activities children are introduced to musical concepts through a wide range of musical repertoire across many styles and eras. Each year visiting artists such as Musica Viva and Oz Opera provide the children with fantastic musical experiences and long lasting memories.
All music lessons at Curl Curl North take place in a fun and supportive environment where all children are encouraged to ‘have a go’.
