School Canteen
Our canteen is situated at the heart of our school. The new facilities enable our Canteen Supervisor Mr Ken Martin to prepare fresh and delicious food for students and staff. It is an environmentally friendly canteen where containers are recycled and most food is prepared on-site. The canteen is open five days and is staffed by a full time coordinator supported by parent volunteers. All profits go to the P&C.
The focus is on foods which comply with the NSW Government Healthy School Canteen Policy.
RED – ‘Occasional’ foods. These foods are sold no more than twice a term.
AMBER – ‘Select Carefully’. These foods must not dominate the menu and must be sold only in small portions.
GREEN – ‘Fill the Menu’. These foods are encouraged and promoted.
